I am a Reiki practitioner of the Usui Lineage. I received my first-degree attunement from Dutch Reiki Master Ben Verheijden in 1992. My second-degree attunement was received from Reiki Master Hendrik van der Merwe in 2019.
My love affair with essential oils began when I trained with Isa Carstens at Stellenbosch Health & Skincare Academy. I was immediately drawn to the body treatments like Swedish Massage, Aromatherapy [Eve Taylor] and reflexology. The “mysterious” healing aspects like homoeopathy, reflexology and essential oils intrigued me but were not as mainstream as they are today. This opened up a whole new world of alternative healing for me.
After an intense desire to tattoo weird geometrical symbols onto my body, someone suggested I look into light codes. These codes are believed to be energetic frequencies that carry transformative information. Codes can be written, spoken, sung or gestured. They transcend words of our native language – to communicate directly with the soul thus bypassing the limitations of the intellect.
They are said to carry vibrational frequencies that unlock deep spiritual insights and activate profound transformation within individuals. I started channelling Light Codes in September 2021.
